Camper Van Build List: Materials, Parts, & Tools
The complete list of materials, parts, and tools that went into converting our cargo van into a camper. This list is most useful for those that have seen a component we used in our van and want to know the name of the specific product. To assist in finding what you are looking for, we have subdivided the list into materials, sofa bed, closet, kitchen, food cabinet, external, paneling, insulation, electrical, living, and tools, as well as, included a sheet for total costs and plywood-polymer calculations.

Thank you for sharing this !!
Glad you find it helpful!
I really like your design. We’re thinking of building but towards the end of our Sprinter. How would the bed frame fit over the wheel covering? Would it be possible to get the Excel file and build instructions?
Hi Annalyn! Yes, you should easily be able to modify the bed frame such that it’ll fit over the wheel covering. You would just have to build the frame such that the aluminum goes around any objects it interferes with. Additionally, if you plan to have a drawer on that side of the bed frame, it’d have to be built shallower to avoid colliding with the wheel covering. For additional details on our bed frame design, please send us an email and we can discuss this further.
